The 2nd day of the Double DECC'er regional ended on Saturday, March 9th. After qualifying matches, the Daredevils were ranked in 37th place out of all the teams attending the Northern Lights Regional, and were unfortunately not picked for one of the 8 seeded alliances and did not compete in the final matches. We spent the rest of the day cheering on and socializing with our fellow teams. We didn't leave empty handed, however. Kobi Jones, a member of the strategy department, became a Dean's List Finalist, which is given to a student who encapsulates the qualities of FIRST by demonstrating Gracious Professionalism and Cooperation. Kobi will go onto the World Championships, where he will compete against other finalists from other regionals. The Daredevils also won the Gracious Professionalism Award, which is given to a team who demonstrates Gracious Professionalism (being respectful and helpful to fellow teams) to other teams.

All in all, the Daredevils had a great time, and would like to thank all of the other teams for attending our hometown regional! We are looking forward to competing at the Great Northern Regional, and hope to see everyone there!
