The Gitchi Gummi Get Together

The Gitchi Gummi Get Together is our summer robotics competition that takes place in Duluth. This event was put together with the goal of becoming a sort of “summer retreat” for participating teams. In the next few years, our team hopes to expand the event to include even more activities, workshops, and team building opportunities. As always, it’s free and open to the public.

  • Friday and Saturday, July 19th to 20th, 2024

  • Two day tournament style event

  • 30 team capacity

  • $250 per team

  • Registration Deadline is July 6th

4:00-6:00 Load in

Friday July 19

9:30-12:30 Check in, Load in, and Pit Set Up

10:00-10:50 Workshop Block 1

11:00-11:50 Workshop Block 2

12:00-12:45 Lunch 

1:00 Opening Ceremonies and Driver’s Meeting

1:20-6:00 Qualifying Matches 

Saturday July 20

8:30 Pits Open

9:00 - 12:00 Qualifying Rounds 

12:30 - 1:00 Alliance Selections

12:30 - 1:30 Lunch

1:30 - 3:30 Championship Rounds

3:30 - 3:45 Mentor Match - Teams interested in competing in the Mentor Match are asked to stop by Pit Admin and enter their team.  If necessary, we will have a drawing to come up with the lucky 6 teams who will form alliances and square off against each other.

3:45 - 4:15  Awards Ceremony
