Post Regional Update!

Greetings Guppies!

This past weekend was the first of our regionals, the Double Deccer! We had so much fin competing with a ton of other talented teams!

Thursday we got there and were able to set up in the stands and get the build team going on working on robot inspection and last minute touches to make the robot more e-fish-ent. before practice matches. The practice matches were a good time to learn a lot about the robot and how to work with alliance partners. We also had a lot of fun working on scouting through our scouting app. Strategy had updated it for this year's game and we wanted to make sure everyone knew how to use it.

Friday was the first day of competition! Our first qualification match went really well because of practice from the programming and build departments the day before. We were steadily improving both our autonomous and teleop driving throughout the rest of the day. We got a great chance to practice our team chants and cheering for our fin-tastic drive team.

Saturday was the final day of competition. We were excited to finish up the final qualification matches and see who was selected for alliance selections. We unfortunately were not picked but some very talented teams were and we were o-fish-ally able to sit back and watch some really cool matches.

Overall we were so excited to compete at this competition and we are already working hard to get ready for the Wisconsin Regional down in Milwaukee on March 22 - 25!
