Build Season Week 3!

Hello Minnows!

This is a quick re-carp of what we have been busy working on in the past two weeks of build season.

CAD members have been 3D modeling different eel-ments of the robot to make code for the CNC machine for custom parts. Build has been working on cutting out many parts on the CNC machine with much help from the CAD members. Build has also been prototyping the grabbing mechanisms for the robot and 3D printing parts for a potential lift design.

Electronics are building an extra chassis for testing and have started mapping out how the electronics on the robot will be placed. In addition they have been salvaging old roe-bots for usable parts to use on this year's robot.

Programming has been busy working on the base code for drivetrain, elevator, and basic elements of the autonomous program. These elements have already been completed and now they are waiting on a build to finish their grabbing mechanism so they can test their code and fine tuna it.

Media has been collaborating with the Team Management department working on planning our next two regionals by finding hotels, planning where we are going to eat, and planning transportation. TM has also been planning some volunteering oppor-tuna-ities in the community. Media is documenting the building process of the robot and continuing to upgrade the website, also writing blog posts to update the community and you on our progress!
